OpenInvoice is engineered as a 100% client-side web application. When you input your business name, client details, line items, pricing, or tax rates, none of this data is ever transmitted to, stored on, or processed by our servers. All document calculations and vector PDF compilation occur entirely in your local browser sandbox.
2. Local Storage & Offline Persistence
To provide convenient auto-save and address book features, OpenInvoice utilizes your browser's native localStorage and IndexedDB technologies. This information remains strictly on your device. You can clear this data at any time directly through the app's History drawer or your browser settings.
3. No Financial Surveillance
We have zero insight into your invoices, revenue numbers, client identities, or business cash flow. We do not sell, rent, or monetize your business information to third-party data brokers or marketing networks.
4. Third-Party Analytics & Hosting
Our static site assets are served via high-speed global CDNs (Cloudflare / Vercel). We may collect standard aggregate anonymous web server logs (e.g., country of origin, browser user-agent) purely for security, performance monitoring, and bandwidth optimization.
